オーストラリアに、ノネコ・野良猫問題（TNR、猫の遺棄、野生動物への猫による被害など）を多面的に論じるサイトがあります。No Cat Zone.com（日本語版は国旗をクリック）、といいます。多くの学術論文や、マスメディアの報道などをリンクしてあり、大変有益な、かつ真面目なサイトです。私はこのサイトを支持します！折々この、No Cat Zone.comで取り上げられたトピックスや提言をこちらでも紹介します。
以前、No Cat Zone.com（日本語版は国旗をクリック）、の掲載記事をこちらのサイトで引用しました。事後承諾のために本サイトの管理人の方にメールをしました。そしてサイトの趣旨に賛同する旨をお伝えしました。このサイトの管理人の方である、エドワードさんからお返事のメールが届きましたので紹介します。
ノネコ、野良猫や捨てられた猫（放し飼い猫も含むのでしょう）は、世界中で大問題になっています。オーストラリアやイギリス、アメリカ合衆国などの野良猫問題や、TNRに関することには、No Cat Zone.com の管理人さんは相当お詳しいことだと思います。またサイトの記述を読んでも、まじめで丁寧な方と推測します。今後こちらのサイトからも、情報提供をいただきたいと思います。以下に、エドワードさんのメールに対する私の返信を引用します。

日本でも、エドワードさんのような方の活動を見習わなければなりませんね。日本の動物愛護（誤）政策は、一部の狂信的なノイジーマイノリティーが席巻しています。そして国民の大多数の世論とは逆に向かった政策が行われ、多くの国民の権利が侵害されています。さらには日本の希少生物でのTNRの強行など、生態系の破壊が行われています。いつまでもサイレントマジョリティーがサイレントマジョリティーのままであってはならないと思います。
